The far right gave the Dems all the cards

rushlimbaughwiththeugliestnecktieever1. Hey Mr. Limbaugh:  The Arlen Specter thing?  Kinda your fault - And
same goes for Ms. Palin, Mr. Hannity, Vice President Cheney, etc…  Sure Sen. Specter is switching sides less on Principle and more on the fact that he wants to keep his job, but if a wholesale rejection of moderate tendencies in the GOP had not taken place over the last eight years, well… maybe the Dems wouldn’t be on the precipice of a filibuster-proof 60 seats in the Senate.
Which believe it or not, a lot of us in the middle and on the fence aren’t too comfortable with.  So way to go.  (From Mother Jones)

2. Mexican 5-yr-old Edgar might have been the first to get swine flu - So YOU started it.  (kidding)  The fact that some, any, are blaming this poor kid is ridiculous.  (From the NY Times)

3. Obama Administration hits 100 days - That’s neat, I suppose.  Politico breaks down 10 big decisions the White House and the President will have to make in the next 100 days.  (From Politico)

4.  Winery Dream Job / Publicty Stunt - $60k, free place to stay, drink wine, play poker, blog about it.  Yes, this is a publicity stunt and yes 10,000 people have already thrown their shame out the window and will make fools out of themselves to apply.  God Bless America.
(From the San Francisco Chronicle)

5. The Contradictions between the Creationist MovementsThey can’t even agree with each other on whether or not Dinosaurs existed. Here’s a taste of the article: “Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol, England, is run by a kindly gentleman named Anthony Bush, who insisted that I not confuse him with those “loony American creationists” who think that Earth is only 6,000 years old. “How old do you think it is?” I queried. “Oh, I’ve worked it out to be around 100,000 years old, with Adam and Eve at around 21,000 years old.” At an order of magnitude difference that makes Mr. Bush only five zeros shy of reality.” (From Scientific American)
