Public Enemies
It has been a long time since Hollywood has coerced me into paying 9 bucks to see a movie. It has been even longer since they got me to go and see a movie on an opening weekend. I’d rather just wait a few weeks and therefore have to deal with far less knuckleheads at the theater.
I’m not waiting to go see Public Enemies though. Friday night, I’m there. It’s directed by the same guy who did “Heat”. And the trailer makes it look like it could be the best movie of the year (for a guy like me).
But where has the promotion for this thing been? I’m seen 100x more for Bruno. Which thanks but… I won’t be seeing.
Congrats Hollywood, despite your lack of promotion for Public Enemies… I’ll be seeing it. Maybe twice.
