Police: Woman in bust hid nearly $26,000 in bra (AP)
AP - A fraud bust, indeed: Spokane County sheriff's deputies said a woman was hiding nearly $26,000 in her bra when she was booked into jail for investigation of theft. Lukeisha A. Harris was one of three Seattle-area residents arrested Friday as part of an alleged fraud ring. Deputies said they used phony Oregon driver's licenses and counterfeit credit cards to obtain cash advances from Spokane banks.

Blood-selling Packers fan voted to team’s fan Hall (AP)
AP - A man who said his loyalty to the Green Bay Packers helped save his life has been voted into the team's Fan Hall of Fame. The team announced the honor Saturday for 79-year-old Jim Becker. He attended Packers games for 56 years. Becker said he and his wife raised 11 kids, so money was tight. To afford his season tickets without taking money from his family, he began selling his blood for $15 per pint.

Woman accused of stealing plane and ditching it (AP)
AP - A Santa Rosa woman was arrested for allegedly stealing her landlord's airplane, then abandoning it in a field after it ran out of gas. Authorities said a 27-year-old woman had access to the Piper Cherokee because she had been borrowing it for piloting lessons. But she allegedly took the plane without permission Tuesday from a hangar at the Sonoma County Airport.

Cashier, 91, finishes shift after being punched (AP)
AP - A 91-year-old New York pharmacy cashier refused medical attention and went back to work after a thief punched her. Florence Critelli grabbed the man's hand and screamed when he reached over and grabbed cash from her cash register at the Rite Aid in East Northport on Long Island. He punched her in the chest, knocking her down, before fleeing. "He hit me good," Critelli said.

Police: Man, 77, ate hidden pot stash in squad car (AP)
AP - Police in Iowa City accused a 77-year-old man they arrested on traffic charges earlier this year of swallowing his hidden marijuana stash while seated in a squad car. Authorities served an arrest warrant on misdemeanor marijuana charges Thursday on Howard Switzer, and later released him on his own recognizance.

Bridesmaid’s dress stolen hours before wedding (AP)
AP - Delaware state police said someone broke into a car and stole a bridesmaid's dress just hours before a wedding on Friday at a shopping center in Pike Creek. Police said the bride and one of her bridesmaids were in a salon getting ready for the wedding.

NYC funeral home van towed with body inside (AP)
AP - A police tow truck removed a minivan parked outside a New York City funeral home, giving its dearly departed passenger an unexpected side trip. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said there was "nothing to indicate it was more than just an illegally parked car." Redden's Funeral Home director Paul DeNigris said a windshield placard had fallen flat. The van's tinted windows helped obscure the white cardboard box that held the remains.

AP - Authorities said a 30-year-old-man showed up so drunk for his sentencing for drunken driving that he missed his hearing and now faces even more time behind bars. Authorities said Jason Botos was driven to the Papillion courthouse on Thursday by his father, who needed help from deputies to get his son out of the vehicle.
